Method
  1. Grind all the spices, mustard, cumin etc. to a paste form with ginger and others. Add 2 sliced onions into it.
  2. Mix the ground paste with vinegar and soak meat in the mixture for 4 to 5 hours.
  3. Now fry 2 sliced onions, 8 pods of garlic and 2� long grated pieces of ginger in ghee.
  4. Add the meat mixture and let it simmer on a low fire in a lightly covered vessel for 1 hour and a half or until the meat is soft and done.
  5. Serve hot with rice or chapattis.

1 kg - mutton pieces
3 tbsp - vinegar
2 tbsp - cumin seeds (powder)
2 tbsp - mustard seeds (powder)
2 tbsp - red chillies (powder)
18 cloves - garlic (sliced)
10 - cloves
4� long piece - ginger (sliced)
2� - cinnamon
10 - whole cardamoms (small)
5 - large onions, sliced
10 tbsp - ghee
salt to taste
