Coriander Thokku (Pickle)

Method

  1. Grind the washed leaves of coriander, green chillies, salt, tamarind and jaggery.

  2. Heat oil, add mustard. After it splutters, add asafoetida, curry leaves and the ground mixture. Keep stirring occasionally till done (when oil leaves the sides). It may take approx. 15 to 20 mins.

  3. Dosa or hot steaming Rice.

Ingredients:
1 bunch Coriander
1/4 cup Jaggery
Gooseberry sized Tamarind (soaked)
1/3 cup Green Chillies
Salt to taste

For seasoning:

Lots of Oil, Mustard , Asafoetida, Curry leaves
