Crab In Coconut Gravy

Method
  1. Heat the cleaned crabs on low heat until water oozes out of the crabs.
  2. The crabs should boil in this water till shells become orange in colour.
  3. Remove from heat and remove the waste on the underside, black in colour.
  4. Retain the shells and fleshy part of legs.
  5. Fry the scrapped coconut till dark brown in colour and oil is separated.
  6. Fry the chopped onions till light brown in a little oil, add coriander powder,chilli powder and garam masala.
  7. Do not burn the mixture. Grind the fried mixture to a paste.
  8. Add salt, sugar, ginger garlic paste and water and boil for one minute till gravy consistency is attained.
  9. Add both sauces and mix well. Arrange the crabs in a greased dish.
  10. Spread gravy over the crabs and microwave on medium for 6 to 7 minutes.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  12. Serve with rice,chappathi,paratha etc.
Ingredients:
Crab-washed thoroughly & cleaned-5-7 big crabs
Coconut -scrapped -half coconut
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspoon
Onion chopped - 1 onion
Garam masala - 2 tspoon
Tomato chilly sauce - 1 tbspoon
Soya sauce - 1 tspoon
Coriander leaves
Salt, to taste
Sugar -1/2 tspoon
Oil - 1 tb.spoon
