Alu matar ka pie

Method
  1. Rub oil on the inside of a pie dish and cover with crumbs.
  2. Knead potatoes into a dough with a little oil and salt.
  3. Add ½ of ginger, chillies, cheese, coriander leaves and pepper.
  4. Divide into 2 balls.
  5. Roll out one ball and cover the bottom of the pie dish.
  6. Mix peas with remaining ingredients leaving a little cheese and mix with beaten egg.
  7. Put into the potato case.
  8. Cover with remaining potato mixture.
  9. Brush with egg and top with cheese.
  10. Bake in a medium oven till done.
  11. Slice and serve warm.
Ingredients:
8 potatoes, boiled, peeled
1 cup cheese, shredded
3 tbsp. oil
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp. ginger, shredded
2 green chillies, minced
1 cup coriander leaves, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
