Method
- Put the flour in a basin, mix in water to make a dough, knead well
- Add a little oil and knead, consistency should be roti-like. Keep aside covered.
Fro filling:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil, fry the garlic till light brown.
- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, chilli, the minced chicken meat.
- Add liver, salt, cover and cook till tender and all water has gone and you can see oil at the bottom of the pot.
- Break the eggs, whisk in a bowl without adding salt.
- Pour this over the cooked chicken and liver
- Cook till the eggs are a little brown.
- Take off heat. When cooled, add powdered cumin, mash all.
- Now make small balls from the dough, roll out into puris.
- Place a small portion of the chicken filling, pull in the edges and close by twisting the edges like for gujjia.
- Steam the dumpling, when the dumpling is done, it would look transparent.
- Serve with roti/fried rice.
