Method
  1. Make 2-3 deep cuts with knife on the drumsticks.
  2. Add all powdered spices to the yoghurt and whisk well. Keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
  4. Add sliced onions and saute till pink.
  5. Add ginger and green chillies.
  6. Saute for 30 seconds.
  7. Add the chicken and stir fry on high heat for 5 mins.
  8. Reduce heat and cook for 10 mins. Add a little water if required.
  9. Add the curried yoghurt to the chicken and cook on medium heat till chicken is fully cooked and oil separates.
Ingredients:
Chicken drumsticks - 900 gms
Large onions, sliced - 2
Ginger, chopped - 2 tbsp
Garlic, chopped - 1 tbsp
Green chillies, chopped - 2-3
Red chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Yoghurt - 2 cups
Oil - 8 tbsp
Salt to taste
