Fudge Cup Cakes

Method
  1. Combine 2/3 cup of sugar, 1/3 cup milk, and chocolate in a sauce pan.
  2. Heat gently and keep stirring over low flame.
  3. Once the chocolate melts, cool and stir in shortening.
  4. Gradually add 2/3 cup sugar.
  5. Cream together until light and fluffy.
  6. Add vanilla essence.
  7. Add eggs, one by one, beating well after each addition.
  8. Sift flour with soda and salt.
  9. Add to creamed mixture alternately with 1/2 cup milk, a little at a time.
  10. Beat after each addition.
  11. Now stir in chocolate mixture.
  12. Fill 1/2 full in paper bake cups and place on muffin pan and bake at 375 C for 20 mins.
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups - all purpose flour
2/3 cup - granulated sugar
1/3 cup - milk
1 - bitter chocolate
1/3 cup - shortening
2/3 cup - granulated sugar
2 - eggs
1/2 cup - milk
1 tsp - soda
1/2 tsp - salt
1 tsp - vanilla essence
