Method
  1. Melt margarine using double boiling method.
  2. Add chopped dates, lightly beaten eggs, honey and milk.
  3. Sift flours and return husks to the bowl.
  4. Add sugar and chopped dates. Mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into greased cake tin.
  6. Bake in a moderately slow oven 180�C for about � an hour.
  7. Allow to cool 8 minutes before turning out onto wire rack.

1 cup - wholemeal self raising flour
1 cup � self rising flour
120 g - polyunsaturated margarine
� cup - sugar
� cup - skim milk
1 - egg
4 tbsp - honey
1 cup - dates
