Method
Combine eggs and sugar. Beat until thick.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Add flour, melted butter, vanilla essence and water to the egg mixture.
Spoon a little into each well greased moulds.
Bake at 190ÂșC for 12-15 mins. or until golden brown.
Remove and cool on wire rack.
Brush each Madeleine with jam.
Coat well with dessicated coconut and glace cherries.
Ingredients:
1 cup - flour
1 cup - castor sugar
185 g - butter (melted)
2 - eggs
2 tsps - baking powder
1 tsp - vanilla essence
1 tbsp - hot water
To decorate:
dessicated coconut
glaced cherries and jam
