Method
Beat together eggs, sugar and water over a pan of hot water.
Add quarter tsp. of strawberry essence and a little colour.
Sieve flour and fold in gently.
Pour batter into a well greased tin and bake at 180°C until done.
Cool and cut horizontally into 2 layers.
Beat cream and sugar with quarter tsp.of strawberry essence and little colour.
Divide cream into 2 portions.
To one portion, add chopped fruit and spread on the bottom layer.
The other portion is to be used as the decoration alongwith the cherry on the top layer.

1/2 cup - flour
