Method
- Soak wheat in water for 7-8 hours.
- Heat a pressure cooker, add wheat, chicken, cloves, cinnamon, salt, water and cook on a low fire till done.
- The wheat must be cooked very well.
- If the hareesa becomes too thick, add a little fresh milk or coconut milk to loosen it.
- Add butter & mix very well.
- Serve hot.
- Heat ghee in a pan, fry onion, cashews, raisins and saute till golden brown and garnish before you serve.
