Cheese fried chicken with honey sauce

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces in salt, pepper and lime juice.
  2. Mix plain flour, corn flour, egg, 2 tbsp. oil, cheese and water to make a thick batter. Add salt. Heat oil.
  3. Dip the chicken pieces (one at a time) in the batter and deep fry.
  4. Drain and keep aside.
  5. Serve hot with honey sauce.

For sauce:

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add butter, honey and sesame seeds.
  2. Cook for 4-5 mins.
  3. Add the stock and spring onion.
  4. Cook for another 2 mins.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Thicken the sauce with cornflour.

10 small boneless chicken pieces, washed and drained
Salt and pepper to taste
Juice of 1 lime
150 gms. Plain flour (maida)
100 gms. Corn flour
1 egg
2 tbsp. oil
200 gms. Grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup water
oil for frying

Honey Sauce:
4 tbsp. honey
2 spring onions, finely chopped
1 tsp. sesame seeds
25 gms. Butter
1/4 cup vegetable stock
1 tbsp. cornflour
Salt and pepper to taste
