1. Mix cornflour and milk -- no lumps should be formed

2. Heat the cream in double boiler

3. Pour the cornflour paste into hot cream, stirring continuously

4. Cover and cook for 10 mins.

5. In a separate pan, beat well egg yolk, salt, pepper powder and = vinegar

6. Pour the cooked hot cream over egg yolk, stirring continuously

7. Again put in on gas untill thickens

Variations:

• Can add 1/8 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp finely chopped onions
