Egg and Green Peas Curry

Method
  1. Grind coconut with ginger and garlic to a smooth paste and mix with all the powders.
  2. Soak tamarind in � cup of water and extract the juice.
  3. Heat oil and fry the onions till golden brown.
  4. Add the coconut paste and fry very well.
  5. Add the tamarind juice and 1 � cup of water.
  6. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the green peas and eggs.
  8. Add salt to taste.
  9. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
  10. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
hard boiled eggs - 4, shelled
cooked green peas - 1 cup
grated coconut - 1 � cup
ginger - 1 cm piece
garlic - 4 flakes
chili powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 2 tsp
cumin powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - � tsp
tamarind - size of a small lime
oil - 3 tbsp
onion - � cup, finely chopped
coriander leaves 2 tbsp, to garnish
salt to taste
