Jalebi pudding

  1. Boil the milk with the sugar for 1 minute. Let it cool a little and beat in the eggs and vanilla essence.
  2. Grease a baking dish. Line with the jalebis and rusks in layers. Pour the milk mixture all over. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  3. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for half an hour or till set.
  4. Decorate with coconut powder and gems.
  5. May be served hot or cold.
1/2 litre milk
3 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1/2 kg. jalebi
8 rusks
