Sausage Breadrolls

Method
  1. Cut off edges from bread slices.
  2. Work with them 1-by-1 from now.
  3. Gently immerse the slice quickly in water & squeeze between your palms.
  4. Apply 1 tsp sauce & sprinkle little herbs/seasoning powders on it.
  5. Place 1 cheese slice on it & then place 1 sausage along an edge of the slice.
  6. Gently fold the slice ends near the sausage ends & then roll over folding the slice onto the sausage.
  7. Then, lift the arrangement in your palm & with the other hand gently press & seal the roll at the end, ensuring both ends are well-sealed (use wet fingers to seal).
  8. Place rolls in fridge to set for 10 mins.
  9. Heat oil to deep fry.
  10. Dip the rolls in the beaten egg & roll into breadcrumbs.
  11. Deep fry till golden brown & set to drain on paper towels.
  12. Serve with ketchup of sauce of your choice.
Ingredients:
8 - large square thick bread slices
6 1/2" thick 2 to 3" - long sausages
1/2 cup - ketchup/ any spicy sauce of choice
8 - cheese single slices
herbs/ seasoning powders of your choice
1 - egg, beaten
2 cups - breadcrumbs
oil to deep fry
