Fish Baked in Turmeric Leaves

Method
  1. Cut the fillets into 6 cm pieces.
  2. Combine all the ingredients from green chilies to lime juice.
  3. Line a baking dish with 1/2 the turmeric leaves.
  4. Sprinkle 1/2 the masala over it.
  5. Arrange the fillets in a single layer over it.
  6. Sprinkle remaining masala over the fillets.
  7. Cover with remaining leaves.
  8. Bake in a moderate oven till done ( about 25 minutes).
  9. Serve hot.

sear fish fillets - 1/2 kg
green chilies - 3 to 4, minced
ginger - 2 tsp, minced
oil - 2 tbsp
turmeric leaves - 6 to 8
lime juice to taste
pepper powder to taste
salt to taste
