Fish fry/mali fry

Method
  1. Clean and wash the fish thoroughly. I usually use turmeric and salt water to clean them.
  2. Mix chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and lemon juice.
  3. Marinate the fish nicely with this mix.
  4. Put it in a freezer and marinate for 6-8 hrs or overnight. I found that, the more I marinated the better was the fish fry.
  5. In a tawa add 1 tbsp of gingelly oil, when it is hot add curry leaves and fry.
  6. Then add fish, fry it until it is cooked well.
  7. Add more oil while frying.
  8. Flip at frequent intervals to ensure that it is cooked on both the sides.
  9. This process will take 8-10 minutes on a medium flame.
  10. Serve hot. Squeeze lime and garnish with coriander.

4 pieces - King fish
3/4 tsp - chilli powder (Reduce or add as per your taste)
Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
3 tbsp - gingelly oil
Curry leaves, a few
2 tsp - lemon juice
