Method-
You may lightly fry the fish. Heat the oil in a karahi. Fry the onions till light brown.

Add the ginger garlic paste, salt, pepper, sugar and turmeric and fry till the oil separates.

Add 1 cup of water, ketchup and fish pieces.

Let it cook on medium heat. Remove when the fish is done and the gravy is thick; garnish with fresh coriander.
Variation: Hard boiled eggs, prawns or paneer may be cooked the same way.
