Method
  1. Fry the fish - sprinkled with salt and turmeric powder - for a while
  2. Grind all above ingredients (coriander, garlic, ginger, tomato and chillies to a paste) except onion and garam masala
  3. In a kadai, heat 4-5 tsp oil, add onion, cinnamon and cloves
  4. Add ground paste and fry well
  5. Add 1&1/2 cups water and salt to taste; stir for 2 mins
  6. Now add the fish and cook covered for another 5 mins
  7. Serve hot
Ingredients:
500g - fish
200g - fresh coriander leaves
3-5 - greeh chillies
25g - ginger
3-4 - tomato
3-4 pods - garlic
2 - onion, medium sized, chopped fine
4 pieces - cinnamon, slightly crushed
4 - cloves, slightly crushed
4-5 tsp - oil
A pinch of turmeric powder Salt
