Gravy Mutton

Method
  1. Clean and wash the mutton well.
  2. Soak whole red chillies in 1/2 cup water for 15 to 20 minutes and grind them to a fine paste.
  3. In a bowl mix curds, ginger garlic paste, red chillie paste, coriander cummin seed powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt...
  4. Marinate the mutton in the curd mixture for 30 minutes.
  5. Cook the mutton in a heavy bottom vessel on a low flame.
  6. Cook covered with a lid that has some water on it. Stir at regular intervals.
  7. Add little water if needed and cook till done.
  8. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with salli (potato straws) and hot rotis.

1/2 kg - mutton
1/4 cup - curds
3 to 4 - whole red chillies
1 tbsp - ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp - coriander cummin seed powder
1 tsp - garam masala powder
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
salt to taste
finely chopped coriander leaves( to garnish)
