Meat kebabs in sauce

Method
  1. Mix all ingredients (except sauce) with meat and reserve for 4 hours.
  2. Skewer meat pieces on bamboo sticks or skewers and grill until tender.
  3. To make sauce: Heat 3 tbsp oil. Fry onions, garlic and ginger. Add all other ingredients and cook till blended, adding half to 1 cup of water as needed. Serve the kebabs hot with this sauce and onion rings.
Ingredients:
600 gms. boneless mutton, cubed
3 tbsp soya sauce
1 ½ tsp honey
1 tsp red chilli paste
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

For Satay Sauce:
2 onions, peeled, grated
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp ginger paste
1 ½ cups peanuts, roasted, powdered
½ cup vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp jam
Oil as needed
Salt to taste
