Method
  1. Fry the dal (dry) in a pan till golden brown.
  2. Wash it once done.
  3. Mix it with rice and put it in a large vessel for cooking with sample water (just the way we cook rice).
  4. In another pan heat mustard oil (3 tbsp).
  5. Put jeera, onions, green chillies, garam masala and cook till brown.
  6. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato, haldi sugar, salt.
  7. Cook for some time and pour the mixture in the rice vessel which is cooking.
  8. Cook till the mixture is semi liquid and dal is soft.
  9. Add the ghee and serve hot

Ingredients:
300 g - small prawns, deshelled
50 g - rice
1/2 cup - masoor dal
50 g - moong dal
5 to 6 - green chillies
2 - sliced onion
2 tsp - jeera (whole)
1/2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp -haldi
garam masala powder
1 - tomato
1 tsp - sugar
1 tbsp - ghee
salt to taste
