Method
- Fry the dal (dry) in a pan till golden brown.
- Wash it once done.
- Mix it with rice and put it in a large vessel for cooking with sample water (just the way we cook rice).
- In another pan heat mustard oil (3 tbsp).
- Put jeera, onions, green chillies, garam masala and cook till brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato, haldi sugar, salt.
- Cook for some time and pour the mixture in the rice vessel which is cooking.
- Cook till the mixture is semi liquid and dal is soft.
- Add the ghee and serve hot
