Prawn and Indian Red Spinach Curry

Method
  1. Cook tur dal & red spinach in the pressure cooker upto 3 whistles and keep aside.
  2. In a pan fry onion, grated coconut, aniseeds, garlic, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and grind in the mixer till finely ground and add turmeric & tamarind juice.
  3. Put this mixture in a vessel pour the dal & spinach
  4. Add the fresh cleaned prawns and cook for 15 mins.
  5. Serve hot with chapattis or steamed rice.
Ingredients:
1 kg prawns, cleaned
Indian red spinach
1/2 coconut, grated
5-6 red chillies
1 cup tur dal
1 chopped onion
aniseeds
cumin seeds
garlic
coriander seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4 tsp tamarind juice
