Prawns and cabbage saute

Method
  1. The prawns procured should be fresh.
  2. While cleaning, care should be taken that shells and excretory duct are removed.
  3. Marinate the prawns in turmeric powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a container and release the marinated prawns in it.
  5. The prawns should be cooked till they are soft.
  6. Remove the prawns and keep aside.
  7. The cabbage should be chopped finely and into smaller parts.
  8. Heat oil in a conatiner.
  9. Dash cumin seeds, garam masala , ginger garlic paste into it.
  10. Add the cabbage into the container.
  11. Cook the cabbage in low flame for 15 minutes till the vegetable releases water and reduces in volume.
  12. Add turmeric powder and salt as per taste.
  13. Add the already cooked prawns to it and mix well with the help of a spatula.
  14. Add 1/2 cup of water to the mixture and cook for 5 minutes till the water dries up and the flavour of the prawns mix well with the cabbage.
  15. Garnish with green chillies slit in between.
  16. It`s now ready to be served.

Ingredients:
1 big sized - cabbage, chopped nicely
1 tsp - turmeric powder
1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
1 pinch - cumin seeds
250 gms - prawns, shells removed and cleaned nicely
2-3 pieces - green chillies
2 tsp - garam masala (a blend of cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, cloves)
Oil for frying (mustard oil is preferable)
