Method- Wash and cut the mutton to small pieces.
- Marinate the mutton with lemon juice, salt, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, curry masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and pepper powder for 30 minutes.
- Add a tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker and add the marinated mutton.
- Pressure cook up to 3 to 4 whistles.
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan.
- Add cloves, saunf, cinnamon and wait till they crackle.
- Add chopped onion and saute till golden.
- Add the mashed tomato and stir for 2 mins.
- Add the mutton and combine well.
- Taste and adjust salt and seasonings.
- Cook covered until the mutton turns tender and oil separates from the curry.
- Remove from flame.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with soft chapattis, rotis, naan or rice.
