1. Beat eggs, add sugar and beat nicely.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt and mix in alongwith 1/4 cup cream, nuts and dates.
3. Put the mixture in a greased baking pan and bake in a moderate oven for 25 mins.
4. Remove from oven, pick out pieces witth the help of a fork and pile on individual plates.
5. Cover each mound with cream and top with a cherry.
