Royal French Toast

Method
  1. Dissolve sugar in warm (not hot) milk.
  2. Beat all the ingredients (except the butter & bread) into the beaten egg.
  3. Add the sweet milk, whisking well.
  4. Heat some butter on a frying pan to medium heat.
  5. Soak a bread slice in the batter & place on the pan (repeat to fit pan)
  6. Cook uncovered until gold-brown on each side.
  7. Serve with whipped cream, honey, chocolate or fruit sauces of your choice.
Ingredients:
6&1/2 inch-thick bread slices
1 beaten egg
1 tsp cardamon powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
4 tbsp butter
4tsp sugar
1.5 cups milk
1/4 tsp salt
