Method
- Wash dry fish, strain dry and keep aside.
- Make sure that there are no sand particles on it.
- Heat wok, add oil, fry dry fish, remove and keep aside
- In the remaining oil, fry garlic pod, red chillies, grated coconut, curry leaves and coriander leaves till brown.
- Add every thing along with salt and blend coarsely.
- Do not add water, it should be absolutely dry and coarse.
- Sprinkle in steamed rice or eat as side dish with steamed rice or chappati.

200g - dry anchovy (nettili)
5 tsp - grated coconut
5 - red chillies
1 - garlic pod
1 tsp - oil
Curry leaves, a few
Coriander leaves, a few
Salt to taste
