Method
- Grate the peel of one orange then squeeze all the oranges and the lemon or lime.
- Whip the cream until half thick and put in the fridge.
- Peel the bananas and cut in half lengthwise.
- Heat half the butter in a frying pan and fry the banana halves on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and put to one side.
- Heat the rest of the butter in the same pan then sprinkle in the sugar and dissolve, stirring all the time.
- Add the orange and lime or lemon juice and the grated orange peel and cook over a high flame for two or three minutes or until it caramelizes slightly.
- Put the bananas in the sauce and cook quickly.
- Arrange on plates and serve garnished with the whipped cream and toasted almonds.

4 - ripe bananas
½ cup - sugar
3 - oranges
150 ml - thick cream
50 gm - butter
1 - lime or lemon
