Chicken chilli roast

Method
  1. Heat oil; fry sliced onions till brown on medium flame.
  2. Ensure onions are not blackened.
  3. Put bay leaf and chillies and stir for 2-3 mins.
  4. Thereafter, put the chicken breast strips and stir fry for 12-15 mins.
  5. Add salt and cook for another 5 mins. Switch off gas.
  6. Cover the pot and rest for at least 5 mins before serving.

Note: This simple chicken dish can be made even without chillies. For those who prefer the chicken spicier cut the chillies into fine pieces.

Ingredients:
400g - chicken breast (cut into thin long strips)
4 medium sized onions finely sliced
1 - bay leaf
3 - green chillies, chopped in 6 pieces
1 tbsp - oil
1/4 tsp - sugar (optional)
Salt to taste
