Spicy liver masala

Method
  1. Marinate liver with 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp salt, for 1/2 hour.
  2. Grind to a fine paste all dry spices with the red chilli.
  3. Heat oil and fry chopped onion till soft.
  4. Add marinated liver and cook for 2/3 minutes.
  5. Add the ground masala, mix well and cook for 2/3 minutes more.
  6. Add the beaten curd, add salt to taste and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Add water and cook covered, till gravy thickens.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriender leaves and serve hot with boiled rice or parathas.
Ingredients:
400gms - mutton liver
1 large - onion, finely chopped
1-inch - ginger
6-8 cloves - garlic
4 - green cardamom
4 - cloves
1-inch stick - cinnamon
1 tsp - coriander seeds
1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
1 tsp - black pepper
2 - dry red chillies
4 tbsp - oil
1 cup - curd (well beaten)
2 cups - water (warm)
