Andhra chicken curry

Method
  1. Clean the chicken well.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai, add chopped onions, tomatoes, chillies and the chicken.
  3. Fry for 2 mins and then add salt and turmeric powder and some water.
  4. Cover and cook till chicken is a little soft.
  5. Add 4-5 tsp coriander paste.
  6. Then add 1 tsp coconut paste and half a cup of water and cook covered for 7 mins.
  7. Add red chilli powder and cook for some more time till the chicken softens.
  8. Add some pepper powder and cook for 1 min and add 2 tsp of lemon juice.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti.
Ingredients:
1 kg - chicken
3 tsp - red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
2 - onions
4 - chillies
2 - tomatoes
3 tsp - oil
2 cups - water
1 tsp - garam masala
1/2 tsp - pepper powder
2 tsp - lemon juice

For paste 1:
1 bunch - coriander leaves
1 clove - garlic
1-inch - ginger
3 - chillies
3/4 tsp - salt

For paste 2:
1 - grated coconut
1/4 cup - water
