  1. Steam potatoes and remove the skin.
  2. Mash the potatoes.
  3. Take the bread slices and remove the outer brown crust.
  4. Dip the bread slices in water and squeeze the water gently.
  5. Add the wet bread with the mashed potatoes.
  6. Finely chop the onions, chillies, corriander and curry leaves.
  7. Add the chopped onions, chillies etc., with the potato.
  8. Knead the potatoes, bread, cumin seeds and chopped items thoroughly.
  9. While mixing it add the salt to your taste.
  10. Make it into small balls and flatten it.
  11. Fry it in the oil till it gets a golden brown colour.
potato - 1/4 kg
bread - 4 slices
onion - 100 gms
green chillies - 4
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
corriander leaves
curry leaves
oil to fry
salt to taste
