Method
Scrape the carrots, cut and remove both ends.
Then cut into halves lengthwise, and remove the hard core from the middle.
Cut into 1" pieces.
Boil carrots in milk.
When tender, dry the milk completely.
Grind carrots finely.
In a kadhai, heat the ghee, add carrots, malai, sugar and rice powder and cook on low fire, stirring regularly till of thick consistency.
Serve at once. While serving, dress with almonds and raisins.

500 gms - carrots, scraped and core removed
1 litre - milk
120 gms - malai
500 gms - sugar
120 gms - rice, powdered
120 gms - ghee
60 gms - almonds, blanched and shredded
60 gms - raisins, cut into 2 pieces
