Method
  1. Wash and trim the chicken. *
  2. In a heavy bottomed pan heat the refined oil. Add the whole spices and allow to crackle.
  3. Add the sliced onion and saute till golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste.cook for 3 minutes
  4. Add the powdered spices followed by a teaspoon of water. Cook till the oil appears on top.
  5. Add the chicken followed by the fresh tomato puree and cook covered for 15 mins on a slow heat.
  6. Season with salt and serve topped with deep fried shoe string potatoes.

300g - chicken
50ml - refined oil
150g - sliced onions
5g - whole garam masala
ginger garlic paste
15g - red chilly powder
2g - turmeric powder
50g - fresh tomato puree
10g - salt
100g - shoe string potatoes
