Method
Wash and trim the chicken. *
In a heavy bottomed pan heat the refined oil. Add the whole spices and allow to crackle.
Add the sliced onion and saute till golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste.cook for 3 minutes
Add the powdered spices followed by a teaspoon of water. Cook till the oil appears on top.
Add the chicken followed by the fresh tomato puree and cook covered for 15 mins on a slow heat.
Season with salt and serve topped with deep fried shoe string potatoes.

50ml - refined oil
