Potato Stuffed Idly

Method
  1. Heat oil in kadai.
  2. Add mustard to it.
  3. When it splutters add curry leaves.
  4. Add chopped onions and sliced chillies.
  5. Saute well and add mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
  6. Mix well to make a smooth paste so that it makes a good filling.
  7. Pour a little batter in Idli plate and place the filling in the center.
  8. Pour some more batter to cover the filling.
  9. Steam it and serve with sauce or any side dish of your choice.
Ingredients:
batter - 6 cups
potato - 2 nos
onion - 1 no
green chilli - 1 no
turmeric powder - tsp
garam masala powder - tsp
oil - 1 tbsp
salt to taste

For Seasoning:
mustard
curry leaves
