Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients except for the chicken, cloves, cardamom and the cinnamon with the yoghurt and keep ready.
  2. Heat the clarified butter and add the cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.
  3. Add all the ingredients except for the chicken and stir till the masalas is done.
  4. Add the chicken and cook till its done. Do not add any water.

750 gm - chicken
1 pod - garlic
1/2 tsp - coriander seeds
1/2 tsp - ginger-finely chopped
2 tbsp - garlic paste
7 - small onions
6 - whole red chillies
5 - cloves
1/2 tsp - aniseed
2 sticks - cinnamon
100 gm - khoya
250 gm - yoghurt
2 cooking spoons - clarified butter
salt to taste
