Method
  1. Heat 2 tbsps. ghee and fry semolina to a golden brown colour.
  2. Peel and mash the bananas and mix with semolina and the rest of the above ingredients with the exception of almonds.
  3. Spread the mixture in a greased thali and decorate with split almonds.
  4. Steam for about 20 mins. or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  5. Cut into neat little cubes with a sharp knife. You can serve it either hot or cold.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups - semolina
1 ½ cups - coconut milk
¾ cup - finely grated jaggery
3 - ripe bananas
2 tbsps - water
a pinch - salt
handful - splitted almonds or cashewnuts
1 tsp - cardamom powder
