Prawn cake

Method
  1. Soak the rice for 4 to 5 hours. Grind with coconut milk. Add salt.
  2. Fry prawns with chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt; keep aside.
  3. In a pan, heat oil add onions.
  4. Saute till soft.
  5. Add ginger, garlic, green chilli and saute till the raw smells goes.
  6. Now add tomatoes and spice powders.
  7. Mix well and add the leaves and fried prawns.
  8. Allow to cool.
  9. In a steamer (appachembu), grease a plate.
  10. Add a spoon of rice batter, cook covered.
  11. When it is done, spread the prawns filling and add the rice batter.
  12. Repeat till end.

Ingredients:
1 cup - biriyani rice
Coconut milk to grind the rice

For filling:
500g - prawns
3-4 - onions
1 tsp each - ginger and garlic
3 - green chillies
1 - tomato
1 tsp - coriander powder
1 tsp - red chilli powder
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
Curry leaves, coriander leaves
