Potatoes - medium size 4 boiled and mashed
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves few Spice paste made out of given measurement Salt Oil
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Cummin seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Red chilli -3 or according to ur taste
Pepper corns - 1/4 tsp
Garlic - 3 pods
Shallots - 5
Coconut - 1 tbsp scrapped
oil and salt
For spice paste:
Heat a tsp of oil in a frying pan fry all the spices one by one until they turn slight brown.
Then fry the shallots and garlic until light brown add the coconut saute and switch of the gas.
Grind it to fine paste adding water.
For potato sagu:
Heat oil in the pan. Add the mustard seeds and curry leaves once spluttered.
Add the mashed potato and the paste, add some water.
Add salt and let it boil for some time.
Serve hot with roti. Fat free side dish is ready to serve.
