A good source of lean protein, buttermilk provides the body with a number of essential vitamins and minerals. Down a glass of buttermilk with your meal and you`ll soon find you are not only eating less but also relsihing your meal.
This spicy drink can be refreshing on a warm day
Ingredients:
1/4 liter yoghurt
3 glasses water
few curry leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 inch ginger
few sprigs of corriander
4 tsp chopped cucumber
1 very small chilly(optional)
salt to taste
Method:
Blend togather all the spices and leaves till they attain a paste like consistency.
To this add the yoghurt and water and blend well.
Chill in the refridgerator and serve.
The cumin seeds and ginger help with the indigestion problems.
This buttermilk drink is a very healthy summer cooler.
