Green gram idli
Often touted to be the world`s healthiest foods, lentils like green gram and urad dal are high fibre foods. They are also low in calories making them a dieter`s favourite.

Ingredients:

Green gram - 1 cup
Urad dhal - 1 handful
Salt and green chilli
Soda bicarbonate - 1 tsp (Add it when u make idlies)

Method:

1. Soak the green gram and urad dhal together by add salt and green chilli to it.
2. The coarse should not be to fine.
3. Pour the batter in the idli moulds , steam it for 8 minutes.
4. Serve hot with ginger or garlic chutney.

Note: If you`re using the batter immediately add soda bi carbonate.
