What to eat?
Acne, blackheads, moles may have been frequent cause for concern in your younger days. But, not so when you are in your 30s for that`s when signs of aging start showing for a number of people. Increased pollution and lack of good skin care routine accelerate the appearance of wrinkles and inelastic skin.

This damage to your skin is caused by oxidation and you`ll be glad to know that you can eat your way out of this problem. Besides applying sunscreen regularly, make sure you include antioxidant-rich foods in your diet to protect your skin cells from oxidation and help you look fresh and youthful. Most antioxidants are found in vegetables, nuts, fruits, seeds, and legumes. Let`s take a closer look at what you must eat to look great.

Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids protect the skin against sun damage. Munch on walnuts and flaxseed muffins when you want a snack and add a handful of boiled soybean to your salad every day. Salmon and sardines are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Spiced Peanut Flax Powder

1/2 cup peanuts
2 tbsp ground flax seeds powder
1/4 cup coriander seeds
1 tbsp black peppercorns, whole
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds


Dry roast all the ingredients except chilli powder and salt. Keep aside to cool.
When the contents become cold, grind them into a fine powder by adding chilli powder and salt.
Enjoy this yummy powder with steaming hot rice and a dollop of ghee.
