Restaturant-style but quick and easy, this recipe is a sure hit with your colleagues.
Ingredients:
1 bunch - palak
100g - paneer, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 small piece - ginger
2 - garlic
2 - green chillies
1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
2 tbsp - oil
Salt
1/2 tsp - tomato and chilli sauce
Method:
- Chop the palak and wash it well.
- Now boil the palak along ginger, chillies, garlic for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool for a while and grind to a paste.
- In a frying pan, heat oil, temper cumin seeds.
- Add the palak paste and fry it well for 10 minutes on a medium flame.
- Now add tomato and chilli sauce and mix it well.
- Add paneer cubes and salt and again mix it.
- Cook covered for 5 minutes.
- Palak paneer is ready; serve hot with rice or roti.
