Mango ice cream
A variety of ice creams of different brands are available in the market. Yet, what lends appeal to the ice cream you make at home is the unique combination of ingredients and blending of personal flavours. Here`s a selection of yummy ice creams turned out by our experts that you can try this summer.

Mango ice cream

Ingredients:

1 cup - mango pulp
1 cup - milk
Sugar to taste (about 6 tablespoons)
4 tsp - custard powder
Chopped almonds

Method:

Dilute the custard powder in a little milk and set
Bring the remaining milk to boil.
Add the sugar and allow it to melt.
Add the diluted custard powder to the boiling milk.
Stir continuously on low flame and cook till the custard thickens.
Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
Blend the custard mixture and mango pulp together in a blender and pour this mixture into a plastic bowl.
Cover and freeze for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, remove from the freezer and blend it in a mixer and freeze it again.
Repeat this procedure for 2 or 3 times and then place it in the freezer to freeze completely.
Garnish with the chopped almonds and serve chill.
