Bored with the regular fruit and vegetable juices? Pep up your summer with these combination drinks which display an interesting mix and match of ingredients - fruits, nuts, vegetables and more. These tried and tested recipes show you how a dash of ginger, a slice of cucumber or a whiff of cardamom could make all the difference to your drink.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 strawberries
1 tsp grated ginger
A pinch of salt
Sugar as needed
Method:
Puree the strawberries with 1/3 cup water.
To the freshly squeezed lemon juice, add strawberry paste, sugar, salt, grated ginger and 2 cups of water.
Stir well and filter.
If the juice is thick, add some more water.
Serve chilled.
