If you`ve caught yourself overeating more than a couple of times every week, it means you must re-look your eating style. A number of factors affect your impulse to overeat. We take a look at the predominant ones and suggest ways to help you overcome them.
Food in sight
Research has found that the more food you display within reach, the more you tend to overeat.
Do you picture yourself reaching out to that box of
mithai or chocolates in your freezer compartment the moment you get home hungry after work? Well, you`re not alone. A lot of people binge eat after a long day at work and an arduous journey back home. To prevent this, simply lodge your tempting stuff in kitchen shelves, out of sight and stop loading your freezer with calorie-laden food.
Try to store carrot sticks and chopped veggies like cabbage and cucumber in your refrigerator so that they can be your saviour on those `famished` days.
