Make the most of your time
It is so true - time is money - as we know, nothing in life comes for free. A case in point could be the routine appointments with a client, parlour, designer, doctor etc. That is when we realize the value of time - as we either have to wait or forgo the time limit if we are not there on time.

Here are a few rules of etiquette you might want to follow in a spa to make the most out of your visit:

  • Never arrive late: When you arrive late, you are actually reducing the time you have paid for and you wouldn`t want that. Try getting there fifteen minutes ahead of your appointment so that you will have ample time to put away your things, change and relax.
  • Discuss with your therapist: If you are on time, you will be able to sit down with your therapist and discuss the options available before embarking on a particular treatment. Check and inform the therapist about the sensitivity of your skin and take up the spa offerings accordingly.
  • Modify the settings of your cell phone: You visit a spa to relax and de-stress. Spa time is your time. If possible do not spoil the experience unless you have to attend to something important. Attend the call and speak softly as your call could also be disturbing others. Else, you could keep your phone in the silent/vibration mode enabling you to call them back later.
  • Refrain from talking: The idea of visiting a spa is to set aside your worries and rejuvenate yourself to face the world anew. Take a silent oath before entering a spa. Do not talk/gossip, with your therapist. Talking might just entertain you, but it will definitely not allow you to relax and de-stress.
  • Want adjustment, speak softly: If you`re uncomfortable with anything during your treatment - the pressure, the music, the temperature - tell the therapist. He or she will definitely make an adjustment. Simply raise your head and speak softly.
