Broccoli spinach soup

Method
  1. Take a saucepan and heat butter in it.
  2. Add greens onions and cook until they turn soft.
  3. Add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper to it and mix well.
  4. Now, put chopped spinach, chicken broth and broccoli spears in it and mix well again.
  5. Cover it and cook it on simmer flame for 5 to 8 minutes or till the vegetables are tender.
  6. Add half and half and cook for 4 more minutes.
  7. You can make it a little tangier by adding lemon juice.
  8. Your soup is ready to be served.
Ingredients:
3 Green Onions, finely chopped
3 tbsp Butter
1 pkg Frozen Spinach, chopped
1 pkg Frozen Broccoli Spears, slightly softened
2 cans Chicken Broth
3 tbsp All-purpose Flour
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1/2 cup Half and Half
3 tbsp Lemon Juice, optional
